Player Discussion Kaapo Kakko

We have even famous children tv-program called Pikku Kakkonen (The Tiny/Little 2) which you can see in channel number 2. :)

So K2 is a perfect nickname for him. K2 mountain is the second highest mountain. It's also called as a King of the Mountains as it's more difficult to conquer than Mount Everest which is the highest mountain.

Not to mention what "number two" or "rear channel" sometimes means.
 
Back to twentyfour, awwsum!

It was starting to feel a bit odd for an extremely highly touted top prospect and a 2nd overall not getting to keep the number. Glad that wasn't the case (even if that wasn't the end of the world). There's just so much nostalgic value with this # already and the show hasn't even begun!

My hat off to you. A relative of mine was lost a long time ago on Mont Blanc. That was when I started understanding the majesty of these places. You clearly understand it all. I wouldn't dream of ascending even the base camps (lung condition) but I can appreciate it. The going there and them just being there. We need both.

Boo thought he’d be 2x as good in the NHL.

Lias should take 8 or 9 — good, strong numbers.

I edited this during the wc, you all have probably watched it already. Watching it Kakko really reprecent himself as the most dominant u18 player ever in a WC. That also to me makes Kakko a generational talent. I also think he will climb over 100 points hes rookie season, but this only if he gets some chemistry with the top players in rangers and play all 82 games, I stated it earlier in a Kaapo Kakko thread also. But this is just what I believe, to me its dumb to not say he is generational. I cant recall ever a u18 player being as dominant at Times as he was at WC. That and the fact that he broke the Liiga record for most goals by u18 player, he broke the record for being the youngest player ever with gold in u18, wjc and wc. And he really had big impact in getting those golds. In modern hockey era he simply has acomplished to much not be seen as generational.

Love the music in that vid. Also like how you mixed in the comments with the music. Great job. I noticed he didn't score on Hank in the quarterfinals.
