They clocked Kakko at 25 mph on that breakaway, that is extremely fast…Was kakko having a long shift during his breakaway goal last night? His speed still worries me

Yeah i dont understand why people seem to think he looked slow.
Importantly his first steps for separation were very good. That's exactly what we talked about this spring that he needed to improve, he clearly has put in work on his skating and it's showing results.
Subban, a good skater? His stride looks a bit awkward, but he isn't slow. He skated away from Subban who's a good skater.
Subban, a good skater?I’m legitimately a better skater than him from a technical standpoint, he has the ugliest strides in the league, there’s a running joke on social media where guys impersonate his skating LOL
Yeah, he worked on speed, conditioning, strength and skating and according to the trainers he´s in a hell of a shape for the season.Importantly his first steps for separation were very good. I can't argue with numbers, if they clocked Kakko at 25 then that's what it is.
But yeah he looks awkward. Like he's lumbering. He needs to get some more burst I feel like.
Still, 3 points in 3 games, right? He's trending up. I'm not discouraged.
Those impersonation videos are a f***ing riot. Trying to figure out how to link this twitter vid, hold on
who's they? They clocked Kakko at 25 mph on that breakaway, that is extremely fast…
He had a great breakaway attempt earlier in the preseason, shorthanded as well. I'll say it again that this kid isn't ever going to be 'fast.' But for all the pages spent on his shot in this thread, I'm surprised there's no mention of the finish last night.
His line didn't play great overall though. I still don't see it with the three of them and would really rather have Kakko with Zibanejad. Our best defensive winger with our top scoring center. If Lafreniere can fit on the other wing, that's a line that could have all the parts to work--chance suppression, transition success, and finishing ability.
I wish they’d flash in the corner top speeds reached with the player’s after certain plays, same for shot speeds, they finally have the tech, let’s freakin use it to enhance the game experience! They clocked Kakko at 25 mph on that breakaway, that is extremely fast…
Msg had a clip of the goal on replay late in the 3rd that showed his speed, he topped out at 25mph. McDavid skates regularly at 25mph haha, Kakko went all out to hit that.who's they?
McDavid skates 25mph.. I doubt Kakko is anywhere close to that
I've been saying this too. Switch Kakko and Laf.He had a great breakaway attempt earlier in the preseason, shorthanded as well. I'll say it again that this kid isn't ever going to be 'fast.'
