It doesn't seem like it's what either team needs. Braun is an excellent defensive PMD but he's not someone you want QBing your PP. As others have said, if that's what NYR is looking for, they could probably find a better fit (for similar assets) elsewhere.
Nash is pretty similar to Marleau but he's paid even more, is less versatile, and has an extra year on his contract. He's not the missing piece that's going to put SJ over the top and we'd miss Braun bc he's an excellent fit with Vlasic. I don't want to break up that pair unless it's a clear upgrade to the team overall.
