This team does feel different for whatever that’s worth. Last year I was embarrassed how we played for most of Game 6, this year we fought hard and competed. One thing for sure, the barn will be burning tonight, should be electric!

They give noticeably less PPs than the refs in Game 1 or Game 6. Also way less home win %. Going to be great.

The Lightning will be relying on Vasilevsky no doubt. So the longer the games goes scoreless, the more it favours Tampa imo... since we are more prone to letting in a random goal from nothing, see game 6. If we can get a goal in the first period, and preferrably the first goal, it shoudl put us in a better position to win despite our ability to make comebacks recently.

I would love to see us up 3 after one and cruise to a 5-0 win or something similar.

There are only 2 possible outcomes.

1) Win and advance
2) Lose and season ends


Playing nervous hoping things fall into place is playing loser hockey and playing to lose. Might as well play absolutely FEARLESS hockey. If you lose then you lose at least you give yourselves a chance to advance. Playing nervous gives you what? NOTHING!

Just go out there execute and play fearless hockey. Come what may.

I’d rather go out fighting with mistakes vs. Passive and getting nowhere.

Wes usually does not fall for the fake BS that tampa players have been pulling the entire playoffs. If Leafs go on PK chances are they are deserved penalties tonight. If thats the case its less on the refs and more on the Leafs.

All we want is a fair game.

But for it to be a fair series Leafs should be awarded the game like Tampa was in game 6. But we know that won't happen so we will have to settle for a fair game tonight.

Leafs just gotta go out there and execute. Play fearless hockey and not play BS like Marner did the entire game 6. Marner has gotta show the F up. And Holl should wake the F up and not allow tampa players to crash the net. f***ing take the body.
