Dude! You a rookie. I've been doing this shit since ballard owned the team. You barely seen anything.
Yeah that Ballard era must've been the worst its ever gotten, if you made it through that this seems great in comparison

Though I would like to experience second round hockey for the first time in my life....all I know is horrible game 7 losses lol

I was thinking about this the other day. My best Leafs memories were my dad letting us stay up late during the run in ‘93. The excitement was crazy. I remember the ECF runs of the 00’s, and the feeling that anything is possible.

I really hope this is the team that gives a new generation of kids and teenagers that feeling of belief. It’s a hell of a ride

18 years of futility dating back to 2004 and the inception of the Salary Cap for this organization now lies at the feet of this team tonight..

Leafs record 0-9 in potential series clinching games, Matthews, Marner and Nylander are all 0-5 along with Rielly in past playoff series.

The opportunity to end all this rides on tonight's game, as the weight of that burden rides on the shoulders of those playing today.

I still remember when I was a kid in 2013 and being elated that we were up 4-1 in game 7 about to move on......hopefully this new generation can get better memories than that lol

This year needs to be different, the fanbase deserves it. Get it done, boys!

THIS YEAR IS DIFFERENT!

I BELIEVE IN THIS SQUAD. I BELIEVE IN THIS CITY.

I'LL BLEED BLUE TILL THE DAY THAT I DIE.

LET'S PUT OUR BALLS ON THE LINE AND GET THIS FKIN WINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!

GOOOOOOO LEAFS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

MATTHEWS HAT TRICK TONIGHT.

The fact that this team will literally be 0-10 in elimination games if they lose tonight makes it hard to have any kind of confidence.

I'll be placing money on Tampa, rooting for Toronto.

At least I'll have some money to wipe my tears away with.

Go Leafs Go!

As a Nottingham Forest fan, whose team are in the Championship Play-Offs (won the first leg of the semi-final; 2-1 today!) I am not sure how much more my heart can take of this.

This team needs this win so, so much. I just think it will open up the floodgates for confidence and belief in this team. There is so much damn talent, but they really need to experience that winning feeling of a play-off round and I think they'll just get better and better.

Key is to be at it from the first second. They just have to embrace the fight.

I still remember when I was a kid in 1967 and being elated that we were up 3-1 in game #6 about to hoist the Stanley Cup ... hopefully this new generation can bring back those better memories.

55 years is a long time cheering and waiting for history to repeat itself. 18 years since they won a playoff series and I'll take even that modest amount of success at this point to break the string of disappointment.

You have to start somewhere, hopefully that some time is today, :crossfing

there was a time when the Leafs were expected to win at least around. i've seen them make 4 conference finals. hopefully they win today and we start another golden era. go leafs!

talk about butterflies today.

got up early and went for a haircut and beard trim. Came home, deweeded the lawn, trimmed and cut. Wasn't 12 noon. Bbq'd some burgers for lunch and had a mojito. Barely 1pm.

This is the longest day ever.

Heading downtown around 4:30. Likely train-in from Clarkson. Going to be out of control!

I recall watching them beat Ottawa. Lalime let in a couple softees.
Patrick Laime didn't even survive the game, as Joey Neuwendyk was the star that chased him from the net after the 1st period, if memory serves me correctly the last time the Leafs won a game #7 and a series in 2004.

I don't expect Vasilevskiy is going to be that generous to our Leafs tonight.

They just need to empty the tank and bring it for the full 60, they have been the better team and should win this.

Red Wings fan coming in peace. Good luck to you guys tonight. I was a fan of the leafs back in the Gilmour, ,Potvin, Andrechuyk days. Stay out of the box and I think you win this one. The energy in the building is gonna be electric!!
You mean the Borschevsky years

Let's not forget Keefe didn't change things up with 34 and 16 against the Habs. And had Thornton playing in key situations
I could go on, hasn't earned another year in my mind though
