I was in awe of Puljajarvi during his pre-draft WJHC. That was the first time I really watched him. Kind of sad that he never turned it on in the NHL. Goes to show that talent doesn't always turn to success when their is a lack of drive and lack of brain.I think it's pretty safe to say that Slaf is basically what Edmonton hoped out of Jesse Pulljujarvi.
This is the most accurate comparison I could think of.
Thankfully Slaf, has both of those attributes.
I like to shoot at a range of points, with the centre being the highest likelihood and the odds pushing up or down from there.What do you guys think Slaf's points upside is?
The way he is playing right now.....I think he has PPG upside at the height of his career with the greatest degree of certainty. There is equal chances he hits 100 points as a max or 66 points as a max. It was lower for me earlier in the season....but this play right now is showing us what he can achieve.
