100%. Once he actually matures and gets his ‘man strength’ he’s going to be a passion monster. I see a player go will be exceptionally hard to contain between his strength, reach and hands
Yep. I remember watching him in his first WJC when he was 16, and I couldn't believe he was only being talked about as a late first rounder at the time. Kid oozed confidence and had the puck skills to go with it, while obviously already being built like an NHLer. His game reminded me a lot of Kovalchuk at the time, just without the explosiveness (which was admittedly an important part of Kovy's game).

I don't think he's ever going to be an elite offensive player, but in terms of guys that are hard to play against, he's going to be at the very top. And that matters, especially in the playoffs. And he'll still be a very good complimentary offensive player on top of that. I'd expect him to be a ~30g ~60p player most years, but with the right linemates and deployment, I could see a few PPG seasons.

At the end of the day, he's given Habs fans a lot to be excited about, and it's pretty clear they didn't whiff on their 1st overall pick.

Montréal, Qc.
Why are we posting this when we have Josh Anderson signed until the end of the world for even more money?
Oh don't get me started on that one. Fans were cheering him on and the same time arguing that Danault didn't deserve a dime over 3.5M. The stupidity.

But Anderson isn't french so he can suck in peace without getting hassled so yay for him.
