What? Who cares about that. I'd rather have a player who can play. Protect our players :laugh: ...good lord.

Glass will be an important piece to have. He played for Vigneault in Vancouver.

We needed to get tougher, and that accomplished it. 4th line winger, with Moore, and possibly Carcillo.

Much better than Dorsett. Good move!

Do you even watch the games? No one is afraid of Dorsett. Tanner Glass throws ****ing bombs. We need someone who can protect our players.

Yeah, man.

"****ing BOMBS!!!" YEAH!!! WWE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!

because we lost to the Kings because they out-fought us. :shakehead

He will also help the offense at even strength. Moreso than Stralman who, despite the all-important corsi-rating, didn't help manufacture much offense.

Half of Dan Boyle's production came on the PP.

I think he can definitely help the PP but I don't see significant ES help, especially considering the competition he'll be facing if he's on the 2nd pairing.

1 - 4th line guys like Glass could always be traded. They carry low cap hits and teams looking to get tougher for the playoffs almost always will part with lower draft picks for these type of players.

2 - He's tougher than Dorsett.

3 - That's about all the positives I have about that.

I'm in the minority as I'm liking the Boyle deal. Short term investment. Hold the fort until our kids are ready and we don't have to pay $20million to our top 4 defensemen.

I love bringing Dom back especially at that price. I was afraid if he came back it'd be much closer to $2 per year.

Glass? Really? Really? And at 1.45? Ugh... Could've paid Carbomb less than that and I would've been ok with it.

Why 3 years on Glass? Why? Why not 2, or 1? 3 ****ing years?

I guess his contract is cheap enough that we can move it after the year if need be.

As the day progresses, the more i think that Malholtra for 1 year/$850K would have been great.

Glass had his best years playing for AV, looking at his stats. 09-10 and 10-11 Canucks.

I can't stand how people think that when a TEAM needs to get tougher, the way to accomplish that is by signing a tough guy who for the 4th line who will play 7 minutes and have almost no effect on the game.

Iginla, Lucic, Kreider, Getzlaf, Perry, etc make teams tougher. Not a guy who barely sees the ice.
