JT Miller shutdown blockbuster trade to Colorado

Miller would have been a perfect fit on the Avs, no surprise they made an offer.

Rags have a lot of issues that JT doesn't really fix.

Canucks are depressing af since the trade. Like watching an expansion team.
 
Sucks, Miller would have turned this team into the top dog in the West for sure.

Presumably would have been Mittelstadt+ as the basis. Funny, Mittelstadt would fit this new Vancouver team quite well also :laugh:


The good news for the Avs at least is it would appear they know they still need another significant move or two to fix the depth issues. We've got about 3/4s of an elite team, just needs some work to fix the rest.

Maybe he wants to be the alpha. And he would have been 4th behind the 3 stars assuming it wasn't Rantanen going back.

It kinda sounds like this trade offer was seperate from the Rantanen one. As in Colorado planned to have this deal as well as the Necas trade go down.

Although it’s undeniable Miller has talent, he also seems to have a surprisingly high number of reports suggesting he’s a nightmare teammate.

Sure, MacKinnon has some claims of him being a challenging guy to be around; however I feel those stories are all around MacKinnons unrivaled dedication for the sport and wanting others to play with the same level of passion. Miller’s stories sound moreso like he’s just an ass.

Miller would have been a perfect fit with MacKinnon as Nate is a hard working player with talent as opposed to EP40 just being a somewhat talented player.

The people saying miller couldn’t handle MacKinnon maybe don’t have a ton of experience with these types of people? There’s an equally good chance they combined to form a kind of douchebag-Voltron, the ultimate alpha bro. I’m not even saying g this as a criticism, I think it’d be great.
