Let’s be honest… how often to fan bases agree on a trade! Next to never. There’s always the same few for each team that are all for it or very much against it. It’s not easy putting yourself in the other teams shoes to understand fully what could benefit each team. It’s a skill (not many hold).

I'll throw this here because it's a stronger version of what was hinted at earlier. It doesn't sound like Minnesota's seriously in on any of this, or even looking to be.

Worst Seats in the House [47:55]
When I talk to people inside the organization I do think that Bill Guerin is not thinking that way. I think he does not want to give up his 1st round pick. And I don't think he wants to give up any prospects other than maybe second- and third-tier guys. And so because there are going to be so many teams after a short number of centers I just think it's going to be awfully hard for the Wild to make the move.

Now I do think he'd be willing to give up his 2nd round pick because the Wild are going to get a compensatory pick for not signing Filip Johansson, most likely. But I don't think there's any appetite, even with their prospect pool as deep as it is right now, to give up their 1st, to give up one of their-... they've got 5 really good quality prospect defensemen that you could give up, they've got a bunch of forwards, but I don't think that he really wants to go that route.

For the record, those five defensemen are Addison, Lambos, O'Rourke, Hunt and Peart. It's probably safe to conclude that the forwards at that tier, Khusnutdinov and Beckman, are also not likely to be moved.

No I'm not
Yes you are, you are getting heated over trade proposals that will likely never happen, on a website nobody cares about. "That'll be the day when they stop making bad trade proposals rofl" I wish you knew how goofy that sounds.

Minny will probably go for the second tier plays like Domi, Stastny, Copp, Jarnkrok, etc. where it won't cost a 1st but still a huge upgrade over Rask.

Despite all the talks with Miller to NYR, I think Minny is the better trading partner and have a history of having a better scouting/drafting/player development team than NYR. I'd much prefer to trade Miller to Minny than NYR.

Minny is going to need to find creative ways to add talent at the cheapest possible ways as they are embarking on their dead cap space journey.

What better way than getting a point per game powerforward that can play C or W at roughly 2.6 mil/season.

My proposal

To Minny
JT Miller

To Van

2022 1st rnd pick
Addison
Lambos

Rask doesn't play unless injury. He's the extra body in the suite. Been that way for a while

I asked who this was hurting, I didn't specifically say you were hurting. But, judging by your last few posts maybe you are.

You're asking a preposterous question and responding to me.

I think my posts apply a lot more to you than yours do to me and we'll leave it at that.

Nothing about that question is preposterous. Get some fresh air.

Yeah, it's pretty preposterous. Thank you for continuing to prove my point though.

As for the fresh air, I just did. 50+ degrees here after it being in the 20's and 30's called for a good skate.

Thanks for the concern.

You are just saying its preposterous without reasoning. I haven't proved any point you are trying to make.

No, you unwittingly continue to do so and it’s hilarious to watch.

If you don’t see how asking if someone is “hurting” on a hockey forum because they told you to actually think before you post is preposterous, you might want to re-evaluate things.

I’m done here though, you’ve proven my point plenty.
