Wouldn't this require a subsequent roster move?
They probably forgot Pezzetta is there.

Not entirely sure I like this as he hasn't been the best in Laval. Hasn't been bad, either. However, the way he looked in his first call up he looked better in the NHL than he has in the AHL for almost a year now. Around December he started to slow down last year and just didn't seem that interested in giving a f***.

A player who seems to have issues giving an effort being promoted to a team that has a problem giving a f*** and there's minimal accountability might ingrain the wrong thought process, unless MSL is actually going to sit players who deserve ro be sat.

Oddly enough, it's not Gallagher and almost not Anderson. It's mostly the players we want, or at least wanted to be here.

With RHP who needs to be called up after the conditioning stint, he may be on waivers in order to stay in Laval. There's also Pez who has been stuck in the press box practically all season who could be placed on waivers. Even if Pez gets claimed, at this point, no real loss as he's become a non-factor if he can't get into the line-up of the second-to-last team in the standings.

I think Pez should get a game before they waive him just because you know he's going to come out with some serious energy after sitting for this long

But I agree, if we lose him for nothing it's inconsequential

Dvo should be scratched too. If you play the accountability game it must applies to everyone not just young players. If you "punish" young players only you gonna run into probems.
Sorry but Dvorak is actually defensively responsible, one of the only forwards on the team

But sure scratch him too I don't really mind

I'm guessing RHP is going on waivers. He's on a conditioning stint but it's 3 games or 6 days, whichever comes first. I believe he played 2 games. This is his 6th day.

He has to be activated off LTIR and onto the roster, I think by noon tomorrow. Not sure of the exact rules on that. He puts us at 23. Roy at 24.

So unless someone is injured one of Pezz or RHP is going on waivers. And, since it's not an emergency callup but a regular one that means whoever is injured would need to go IR, so he's de-rostered, and they would need to be out 7 days.

So, yes, other roster moves are coming and soon.

Nevermind, apparently RHP has agreed to a conditioning stint extension, so we have til next Monday before a roster move is needed.

What's the point of this move?

Team is at 22 players with two supposed to come back soon (RHP and Laine), Roy makes it 23.

Pezz has been sitting in the stand for way too long, but at this point he's the 16th forward, not sure why he haven't been waived yet.

Still who is sitting for Roy to play? Dach? Slaf? Someone injured? And Roy is just as lazy as the rest of the team...
