I still don't like it, I just hope he stops taking face offs this yearYep, also said 5 doctors also agreed , no surgery.

Damn saw the threat here opened it excited for a update but just a post adding no value
Was thinking the same - which leads to the question:It is possible to skate with a shoulder injury,
Almost forgot about him
Sounds like could return in January if Doctors like where he’s at, or go under the knife , if they don’t like where he’s at.According to Garrioch chances are improving for Norris to return to the lineup and will be reevaluated after Christmas
SNAPSHOTS: Likelihood of return by Josh Norris this season increasing
The Senators centre has made progress in strengthening his shoulder since the decision was made for him not to undergo surgery.ottawasun.com
He is brutally underrated on this site. It's crazy how UNDERRATED he is on the main boards. Some people talk like if he was just a 2nd liner. A good thread example :
going forward: Thompson-Cozens vs Zegras-McTavish vs Stutzle-Norris
agreed... I mean, if I did this poll last year after the Milano-Zegras goal, or soon after the WJC last July, the ANA duo probably wins it. I do think TT may the best going forward, even though hes a little older. His size and skillset is just so rare to see. Question is can he do it for long...forums.hfboards.com
We aren't making the playoffs and he is injury prone when it comes to that shoulder.
I see no real point in taking a huge risk in bringing him back this season. He should be looking at next year's training camp and making sure he is 100% ready to go then.
Tage and Cozen are very good currently and Norris hasn't played in a while. So not surprising. It's crazy how UNDERRATED he is on the main boards. Some people talk like if he was just a 2nd liner. A good thread example :

He would return in Jan only if he is 100% or atleast the new 100% for himWe aren't making the playoffs and he is injury prone when it comes to that shoulder.

That's not how it works though - he won't sit out 40 games just in case he gets injured again, he will get back and have confidence in the shoulder so he can have a great off season and be ready for next year.We aren't making the playoffs and he is injury prone when it comes to that shoulder.
