According to Garrioch chances are improving for Norris to return to the lineup and will be reevaluated after Christmas

Sounds like could return in January if Doctors like where he’s at, or go under the knife , if they don’t like where he’s at.

It's crazy how UNDERRATED he is on the main boards. Some people talk like if he was just a 2nd liner. A good thread example :

He is brutally underrated on this site.

People thought DBC was the natural scorer but when Norris comes back and starts popping water bottles again people will recognize it is just what he does.

Plus his all around game as well.

We aren't making the playoffs and he is injury prone when it comes to that shoulder.

I see no real point in taking a huge risk in bringing him back this season. He should be looking at next year's training camp and making sure he is 100% ready to go then.

Thought they would have learned their lesson after the Pinto debacle.

Tage and Cozen are very good currently and Norris hasn't played in a while. So not surprising.

With all these young guys its hard to since most of them don't really have a track record in the NHL

He would return in Jan only if he is 100% or atleast the new 100% for him

That's not how it works though - he won't sit out 40 games just in case he gets injured again, he will get back and have confidence in the shoulder so he can have a great off season and be ready for next year.

There is still a lot to work on. Can he and DBC work with Pinto? Does the 3rd line look like it did in preseason and early in the season once Pinto slides back in there?

If he comes back earlier than expected I take that as a good sign and hope he rips it up.
