It's sucks but injuries are part of the game, it's almost impossible to go through an entire season with injuries. No excuses

He does so many little things and takes on tough matchups. We will miss him if he’s out long-term. The fact that it’s his shoulder again is concerning.

I'll say out 3-4 months... Back the week before the all-star break or after.

Hoping it was just precautionary and that he's out at worst case, a month.

It sucks to say but that shoulder was why we should have bridged him rather than sign him for 8 years.

I get why we did it, I'm not angry. Just disappointed but Norris must be absolutely livid...

This is his third substantial injury to the same shoulder. It's probably going to be a chronic issue.

I've had my shoulder dislocate in a bunch of situations, including while taking a draw. Hurt like hell and I lost full control of the arm instantly. Happened once when I was diving into a river and I almost drowned. But it's obviously not the same thing as this though. In my case I could just smash it against a wall and pop it back into the socket and I'd be 100% in a day or two.

But that faceoff motion puts a lot of pressure on that joint.

Not sure what else it could be given what happened. Either it popped out on the draw or if he slipped and hit the ice weird.

Either way. . . probably not good.

Hopefully the Senators can find a way to keep their third line dangerous. Either by putting BRassard between Cat and Giroux or spreading the talent out a little bit more should Pinto go up to anchor the second line.

Sucks! But this team is deep as hell. If there was any position they could afford an injury it was centre.

I’m now glad we signed Brassard. Much rather have him at 3C than Kastelic or Gambrell. Brassard can be effective on the PP as well.

Pinto and Batherson are lights out together. We saw a bit of that in a 4 on 4 situation recently.

Make it happen. And bring up Crooked for christ's sake. He's clearly an NHLer and handily earned that spot over Kelly in camp. Make that right.

All the people clamouring for Pinto to play in the top six are going to get their wish.

Norris has been the teams best all around forward. This is not good.
