Lol, Boeser runs his own face into Manson's stick trying to retaliate. He doesn't act like a dumbass trying to retaliate over a missed tripping call then nothing even remotely happens. You're always responsible for your stick. Manson was careless, and deserved what he got. Pretty funny how he mocks Boeser for supposedly embellishing, only to get tossed out after video review proves it was a dirty act. Should've been called for the blatant trip seconds earlier, as well.
You're ALWAYS responsible for your stick, period.Lol, Boeser runs his own face into Manson's stick trying to retaliate. He doesn't act like a dumbass trying to retaliate over a missed tripping call then nothing even remotely happens.
Go look at the replay Manson's stick never gets higher than his logo, his arms never extend, he's not even looking in Boeser's direction. He just sees Boeser coming at him out of the corner of his eyes and is bracing for contract.
Easily the weakest 5 mins major and game misconduct I've seen in 35+ years of watching hockey.
At absolute worst 2 mins high stick and 2 mins for embellishment for that Oscar performance.
Ooh boy. Someone got an early start to their thanksgiving drinkingYou're ALWAYS responsible for your stick, period.
The only exception is follow-throughs when playing the puck, which this clearly wasn't. His stick didn't ride up the shoulder or anything, it was straight stick to face.
Wasn't a sell-job at all. It wasn't hard enough to rearrange Boesers's face, but anyone who has ever been hit in the face with a hard object, knows that shit still hurts.
Correct you are responsible for your stick, which is why Manson should have gotten a 2 mins high stick. You're ALWAYS responsible for your stick, period.

Yeah, you must have some strong stuff, to not understand the rules, or how sticks in the face actually hurt.Ooh boy. Someone got an early start to their thanksgiving drinking
Blind homerism if you think Manson couldn't just use his peripheral vision on something right in front of him. They reviewed the tape, confirmed it was stick to face, and not embellishment. It was a dirty play- you can argue the inconsistencies in reffing, but this is 100% Manson being reckless with his stick. It wasn't Boeser's fault, no matter how much you want it to be.Correct you are responsible for your stick, which is why Manson should have gotten a 2 mins high stick.
However it's tough to be responsible for your stick when opposing players ram their own face into your stick when you have it at a normal height.
All you are telling me with your assessment is that 1 you are complete homer and 2 you didn't even watch the play. Go watch the replay Manson isn't even looking at Boeser so how the hell was able to give a such an egregious cheap shot that warranted an ejection? Manson literally has his stick at normal heights, and is bracing for contact and Boeser rams his own face in Manson's stick.
I wish the league had the balls to fine Boeser for diving. As that was gross display by him. He should be ashamed. Sticks hurt but not when you get a small love tap caused by your own actions. You would have thought Manson decapitated him. Manson rightfully mocked him.

He never extended his arms… Boeser ran into his stick and cried. Not arguing the stick didn’t hit his face. But barreling into his stick face first is going to cause damage.Yeah, you must have some strong stuff, to not understand the rules, or how sticks in the face actually hurt.
Lol ok, whatever you say boss.Blind homerism if you think Manson couldn't just use his peripheral vision on something right in front of him. How does one embellish bleeding from the mouth? This isn’t the WWEManson literally wasn't even looking at him. Absolute farce call. Should have been maximum 2 minutes to Manson -- and 2 minutes to Boeser for the typical embellishment.
It wasn't a Bruin doing it. If it was Marchand it would be 25+ pages.Holy hell, where’s the thread for this?
That was more a glove to the face than a crosscheck to the faceThe crossscheck to Poitras face tonight was much much worse and was a 2min penalty in the Panthers Bruins game.
Not really much else to add.
Oh, and you were doing so well until your last dumb sentenceManson literally wasn't even looking at him. Absolute farce call. Should have been maximum 2 minutes to Manson -- and 2 minutes to Boeser for the typical embellishment.
Let's get real man. I'm a Vancouverite. It was a soft call. That wouldn't have been a major in my ball hockey league. You're ALWAYS responsible for your stick, period.
The only exception is follow-throughs when playing the puck, which this clearly wasn't. His stick didn't ride up the shoulder or anything, it was straight stick to face.

Don't ever change. That was more a glove to the face than a crosscheck to the face
Lol, no. If they knew they made a mistake, they would have overturned the original call, not review it a second time and then reinforce it.Lol ok, whatever you say boss.
The refs knew they f***ed up the call because they went out of their way to make sure Van didn't get the benefit of the 5 mins PP.
It was a nothing play 2mins high stick and a dive.
I'd be saying the same thing if the roles were reversed. I can't say you'd be saying the same thing.
You keep saying 2 mins high stick. You should just stop because you straight up don’t know the high sticking rule.Correct you are responsible for your stick, which is why Manson should have gotten a 2 mins high stick.

Ok, so now I have the Canucks diving at a rate similar to other teams and I still have no idea why Boeser diving would be “typical”.I don’t know about Boeser but the Canucks dive as much as any team I’ve ever seen.
