What rate of scoring should we be expecting from Lekkerimaki this year?

Not in the lineup tonight, possibly a arm/should injury. He left the ice early in the 1st period last game holdingg his arm after going in to the boards but returned for the 2nd and 3rd
Yeah.. fpund out after. Had some time had some coffee turned it on and didnt see him

Turned it off mid way through the 2nd.. forgot how good hockey without commentary can be

He should be destroying that league. If he isn’t somewhere near top-10 in scoring (or equivalent pace given WJC games missed etc.) it would be pretty disappointing.

Yes Jonathon Dahlen was ppg in his draft +1......45 25 19 44

Expect at least that or close with a continued upcurve from Lekkerimaki or we better shop him for a D

Given that he fell in the draft, if he has a bad draft plus one year, I’m not sure he would have a ton of value. I still agree with you though.

I'd just like to mention that Dahlen was playing 1st line + top PP from the start that season, and averaged 18:53TOI... while Lekkerimaki has started on the 3rd line + 2PP averaging 11:40TOI so far. We're going to need to be patient, and let him develop physically.

Isn't he also like the youngest team, 18 or something, vs how old was LK in his d+1 20 or something?
Having said that, JK is definitely in a better ice time spot than Podkolzin, who was only getting like one shift, less than a minute per game or something early on

Anyone actually get to watch him play? How he has been?

I saw him as a longterm prospect with is lack of strenght and speed (sorry, I still stand by this) but fully expected him to do well in Allsvenskan this year.

I would probably be shopping him immediately.

Management hasn't really shown an ability to make tough decisions so far so I'm not expecting it.

His development path seems closer to Linus Karlsson than EP so far

Some of these takes man lol...

If the Canucks were shopping him, other teams would likely see that as a red flag because they just picked this kid 3 months ago. The kid has only played 9 games this season who turned 18 in the end of July. Stop having kneejerk reactions and have patience.
