I remember there was a time when some thought Drouin was going to be better than Marner and Nylander.
Fine. we'll keep our 55 pt disappointment you keep your 20 pt star.Jost is still likely to obtain a 2nd with his cheap deal. Drouin with his contract will have negative value with the flat cap, maybe a 3rd with retention.
I remember a time when the leafs were actually cup contenters.I remember there was a time when some thought Drouin was going to be better than Marner and Nylander.
First round exit contender****I remember a time when the leafs were actually cup contenters.

Keep it realistic please...
Habs looking for a solid two-way LWer or LD...or a good pick
Remember, keep it respectable and realistic
A couple minor tweaks left but I think he’s done a great jobHabs are ready for 2020/2021. The only moves remaining include hiring a new mascot.
Bergevin said he’s done.
It's doubtful we ever contemplated retaining all of these players. Armia especially is a luxury #4 RW at this point, assuming none of our right wingers will play on his off-side.Comparable contracts needing to be cleared and return is about a 3rd or 4th.
Habs are currently up against this season. They will have $16M next year with Danault, KK, Armia, Lehk, and Tatar. Predicting a flat cap for the next 3 years, unlikely to have any improvement in a trade.
Good jobAs a habs fan, we are way better off keeping him. Absolutely zero incentive to trade him based on his perceived value around the league. He showed some promise last year and with Suzuki in the playoffs, let’s see what he can do in a full season with a better surrounding group of players. He’s good for 50 points, but his potential is much higher if he can just figure it out. At 5.5M it’s not killing the cap. We are fine for this year...maybe he turns into a 60-65 point player which I think he has every capacity to do so especially playing with Suzuki. Trading him now is absolutely terrible/awful management and it’s trying to solve something that is not really a problem yet, all for a reliable winger? We have 10 of those thank you very much
trading Drouin right now falls in the category of trying to do too much in my opinion. Replacing him with a reliable winger doesn’t change the look of our team. Drouin is arguably the most talented on our team and we already have tons of reliable players.
This is trueDrouin is worth more to Bergevin than anyone else. Trading him means acknowledging that Montreal got fleeced in the Sergachev trade, so better to keep Drouin and hope against hope that he improves.
Habs have no interest in trading a top6 winger who co-led the team in points during the playins. Avs should have keen interest in trading a useless 4th line C who couldn’t kill a or a penalty to save his life in the playins and is a 13th forward most nhl teams. And such a below average skater to boot. He personifies the scrub.
Why hasn’t he been signed to his QO yet? Anything over 750K for Jost is an overpayment!
He was doing just fine last year before he got injured! Why this fanbase has to be so whiny?
Again we will keep our 55 pt temperamental disappointment you keep your 20 pt star.Drouin only leads in salary on Forwards. Habs are stuck, he has negative value and most teams would adds a late pick. Keep the temperamental child and dead space, teams will wait for your cap dumps.

We are more than happy to keep our 50+pt player. Don’t you worry your pretty little head about Drouin - he’s not available. He’s looking good with Suzuki!Drouin only leads in salary on Forwards. We aren’t gettung rid of Okposo that easy.Interest from a Sabres fan- somethin like Okposo, Mitts, and a 2nd rounder for Drouin and a.. 3rd or 4th rounder.
Despite what you might read in this thread, most hab fans feel the same way you doSorry Habs fans but Drouin value is negative minus 1
Now your mind is playing tricks on you.I remember there was a time when some thought Drouin was going to be better than Marner and Nylander.
