Wow, that's a sobering statement coming from you. You are usually quite bullish about all things Habs.

For you to have soured on Drouin is quite telling. Sadly, we were all hoping for better but sometimes you just have to accept that the player can't be what he isn't no matter how many videos he watches in the summer or what he might say in a scrum.
It's too bad because i like a french player doing well in Montreal. He's an artist.
But he reminds me of the guy with pink hair in the coffee shop sipping on soy lattes. Does beautiful art pieces but is easily frightened by life. You just know he doesnt have it in his DNA to be strong enough.
Thats Drouin and the pink haired coffee shop artist.

Wow, I never knew. I just thought that he was a spoiled brat.

Oh god. You guys are building him up just to tear him down again.

A positive game but it’s empty praise just to rip on him next week.

Still need more from him.

Credit where credit is due. He played well tonight. Let’s see if he can play with this level of effort more consistently.

It's likely not realistic to expct this every game, but if he can do it more often than not, he'll be the guy we traded for. He looked like a superstar tonight.

Liked his game.

But can we stop using him at the blue line on the PP.

Tough part is that we don't really have another LS with strong passing ability that has experience playing the point. I think he'd be better at the half wall, but it's a bit of a numbers game IMO.

Your other main options are Mete and Kulak. MAYBE Kotkaniemi, but I don't love the idea of him being the main guy back and he's got no experience there.

When you're on this mode I like you more than yourself. Don't get lost. Every games is a final for you.

Told you guys. Got laughed at.

Drouin needs to blow up à la Guy Lafleur in 1975 for us to be true contenders in the upcoming window. If he does, it changes EVERYTHING about the lineup.
