Blue Jays Discussion: Joe Panik: the hero we deserve

Somehow the Dodgers scored 14 runs with only 3 extra base hits.

The rest were scored off of singles, walks and sac plays.

Wasn't the Jays big win over the Angels something like that? I seem to remember them singling them to death.

Edit: it was 15 runs with 4 extra-base hits... close! And no HR... 4 doubles, 10 singles, 9 walks.

I really like Gray and Duffy as rentals (assuming the cost for Scherzer would be way too much). And any of those 3-4 year options would be awesome and probably worth overpaying for.

Duffy's probably the most interesting one to me considering the season he's having. That contract looked awesome when they signed it, then he gave them one really strong season and three years of crap. Hard to believe he's already 32.

SWR was apparently supposed to pitch yesterday against Puerto Rico and that was rained out and move to today. It ended up being cancelled because of the conditions and the fact the game didn't matter. I assume he'll start tomorrow against Canada now in a game that actually matters, but we'll see.
