I think that this is legitimately the worst MLB play I have ever seen. It has everything: a first baseman not hustling, multiple defensive players not knowing how force outs work, the defence not remembering how many outs there were, the defence not covering first base on a ground ball, and at least one throwing error.
Kid is very composed. Might end up better than Pearson. I know it's a hot take after an inning but that kind of confidence can't be taught.

His stuff is nasty, seems to have great control, discipline, confidence, composure, and is just plain good. The talent is obvious.

There are reports Madden's stuff has backed up the last few starts, but if the Jays believe it will bounce back to previous form I probably take him over McGreevy.
He's been struggling for Texas towards the end of the season. he's had a blister however.

His stuff is definitely down. Just watched this recent video and he's sitting 95mph in the 1st and down to 92-93mph by the 6th. Earlier in the year he was sitting upper-90s in the 1st and touching 100mph, before settling in at 95mph in the later innings.

Manoah probably should have been in the rotation from opening day. Some guys you can tell just have 'it'.

Missed both games live yesterday so watched them on delay. Manoah was dominant, that was fun to watch. The 2nd game was irritating, but part of that might have been the Leafs game I was watching at the same time

They need to do a doc on how the Rays do it. The best was when ppl snapped cause they kept taking Snell out and he has 44ip this year in 10 starts. Almost like Tampa knew what they were doing. But ya they are so fascinating. If they had a normal budget...
