People grasp and grasp when there's nothing there. No two players follow the same development path. Are we really complaining, 5 years later, Krug didn't get enough minutes as an Undrafted rookie?

Hey, remember who was on the ice the final minute of Stanley cup game 6? Torey Krug. Spare the ******** about "CLAUDE HATES THE KIDS!". We're past that point now.

A defense with Chara, Boychuk, Seidenberg and Hamilton wasn't going to open up 26 minutes a night for an undrafted rookie.

If you want to comment about something I've said, at least sack up and quote me directly. Krug played his way into the lineup. He forced Claude's hand. And even then, he got very few minutes per night. The only d men who got less ATOI were Dougie, and McQuaid.

Contradictory opinions much? But sure, it's me...

Again, this is the issue I've had with what you're saying. You say he was deemed expendable, but you ignore the actual truth of it all. He was traded as a prospect BECAUSE he was considered a good prospect with big upside. Not because he was "deemed expendable". You putting that opinion out there shows me how myopic and biased you are over this player. It also shows me how unreasonable you are that you'd actually rewrite the narrative of those first two trades. But hey, it's me that's weird, right? Ugh. Zero value brought in your posts, like usual.

Expendable asset means the team wanted to use him in a certain way other then on the ice because of other team dynamics in play, either because they're looking to cash in on said prospect or they have others higher in place. So no, it's not contradictory at all. They used his value to upgrade their team. I'm not sure wtf you're trying to argue here, other than just to listen to yourself argue because you're all butt hurt about the semantics of Morrow and his value. I'm done reading arguments you want to get yourself into. You're a waste of my time.

Classic straw man response when your argument has been exposed as nonsensical: "You're a waste of my time."

Translated, your own words dismissed him, which is why you pointed out "He's been deemed an expendable asset by two teams and not good enough for a third." So that clearly screams you think and thought he had value, right? But hey, feel free to back peddle all you want man. It's a free country...

Still waiting for your Krug response, given the 11 minutes per night ATOI difference between him and McAvoy completely invalidating your argument, but I'm sure it's nothing more than a waste of your time.

I wonder why he or his agent would have even considered this, given his history with Claude and not getting any playing time.

he spoke to habs reporters and sounded excited to be back working with clode. also said he was choosing between 6 and 7 "quality offers". bizarre.

Maybe you prove it on your next post.

What if you guys with all you say don't really know what goes on in Boston. Yet when someone else says something on the contrary you jump on them and ask "How do you know that?".

Huh? The only thing I ever offer here is my opinion. Nothing more. Just my view of what's happening.

Not sure why you guys think Claude didn't like him . HE played when he deserved to under him and after a good performance in the playoffs I expect he will see a fair amount of ice this yr. I think he would've here as well even if he started at number seven what is the chance mcquaid miller etc are all healthy at one time . I have been pretty against Morrow but after April I didn't want to lose him . I am more mad he is with the habs but I don't think he is ever going to be a star or high end d/man so we will survive.
