I really like the forward depth we have at the moment. Also, why does the Post keep calling Vesey a center? Brooks did it a few weeks ago, and Brett did it today.

It was ridiculous even before he made a decision.

It is quite unfair how much media speculation has been put on this just because there is nothing going on in the hockey world. It's just a kid whose using his right to make a decision on his future and took a few days to decide it. For whatever reason, that qualifies as a primadonna, him loving drama, and whatever the hell else people have said about him.

For the people so outspoken against it, I would love to ask them how they would feel if employers could draft them as soon as their pick their major in college and they're stuck with them until their 27.

I don't know if you have inside info or not, but you really seem to understand the inner workings of the NHL better than almost everyone who posts on HF. He is. It was just weird to see that this move technically had Sather fingerprints on it.

Though Gorton did say he was going to keep talking with Sather about stuff and seek advice from him.

Maybe Sather understands the severity of the situation the Rangers are in. Good ol' Slats.

Writers/bloggers/commenters of every team were saying the same thing with respect to their team. This includes reputable people. Rangers have alot of connections with Vesey's father, kinda knew was gonna play out this way after hearing months ago that Boston was out and then he didn't want to go to the leafs. Chicago never made sense if he wanted to stay on the East coast, and Buffalo was just the lure of playing with Eichel.
