Yeah. And what about the rest? Palmieri is good. Henrique is good. That's about it for young forwards. I'm not taking those three players overa all of Step, Zib, Miller, Kreider, Buch, Vesey, and Hayes just because of Hall. He's not McDavid.

Please tell me how Lindberg "stinks" after scoring 13-15-28 in 68 games in his rookie year? It's not like he got premium ice time, those are legitimately good numbers in his situation, especially as a rookie.

But yeah. "He stinks". Because you said so.

Talking about Lindberg being a rookie. I really like how many forwards have upside here. Of course they won't all get there, but:

Zibanejad: 1st line
Buchnevich: 1st line
Vesey: 1B
Miller: 1B
Hayes: 1B
Lindberg: 2nd line

I feel like Lindbergs upside gets forgotten, but those are all possible.

No. He said the rangers didnt have a shot and were just sniffing around doing their due diligence basically.

Yeah, I think Lindberg has some hidden upside to his game. I see him being very similar to Dominic Moore in his prime. A versatile guy who can slide up and down the lineup while scoring 15-20 goals and 35 points, while being solid defensively. Lindberg also had a penchant for coming up big in the playoffs.

Before that he wrote the Rangers were going through with the entire process because the Devils and Islanders were.

Anyways, that Liam Neeson thing is probably true. Would explain why everyone was in good spirits and AV had that smirk on his face leaving the meeting.

I'd like him to get Shesty over to NA so he can get proper development. That would be really good. He's too good to be sitting on the bench.
 
Congrats. Hoped he would sign with the Devils, but I wasn't banking on it.

It must be fun to watch the main board crumble and place all these false narratives on Vesey. You guys are probably used to it after Hayes.

A bit off-topic, but just thought I'd comment.

Rangers definitely have the serious edge in NHL depth at this given time, but it makes sense as the Rangers are more geared up to make a run then the Devils who are in a bit of a rebuild. Devils also have a lot of question marks for next year -- Bennett, DSP, Boucher, Blandisi -- and a few guys starting entering their first pro year -- Quenneville, Wood, Zacha. They could definitely close the gap very quickly.

That being said, I'll always take proven over unproven so the Rangers have the edge. But it's not that far out. Not sure how the Rangers are, but the Devils have an excess of LW prospects so I'm a bit surprised they were a contender for Vesey.
 
I'm blown away we got him ... I've been reading about this ****ing kid all off season

Honestly brassard was my favorite player and I was so disappointed when we let Yandle walk and traded brass ... Yes I get all the arguments for each move but this signing made me pumped for this season ... I know he ain't gonna be the next Crosby but it makes me feel maybe the Rangers do for once have a plan in place and things are starting to fall into place
