Well at least the Rangers make some sense in "Close to home".... because since the start, that seemed as the determining factor, plus they are most likely going to keep him, unlike Chicago.

No real prospect pool however, and a team in a downward spiral. That is a bit odd.

Say good bye to Rick Nash ladies and gentlemen

Too close to Ottawa and Montreal
I expect Manhattan would be a fantastically fun place for a 23 year old Harvard educated man with lots of income potential to live. Good for him, glad he's out of the division at least hope he does ok, just ok.

**** you beat me to it :laugh:

We can trade his brother to the Rangers now too... Which is good since Nolan Vesey was easily our worst prospect last year.

Although Nolan was pretty good the year before so he may turn it around...

Someone, I follow (not a source) said based on his "qualifiers" it was either us or NYR.

It is strange that he decided to go to a team, who are declining.
Another thing is, since he didn't want to go to ourselves or the Sabres (to play with his good buddy Eich), here with Auston or with Chicago, he may want to be THE man. He'll have a great opportunity there.

We'll see him in January.
