People want to give Tyler Motte $2 mil per season. He's 27 and has 50 career points in 6 seasons.

Rangers signed Carpenter, who is 31 and has 69 career points in 7 seasons.

Vesey is 29, will sign for league minimum, had 3 seasons with the Rangers where he scored 16, 17, and 17 goals. 27, 28, and 35 points. For league minimum playing on the 4th line, there's a lot worse. He can kill penalties and fill a 4th line role for as cheap as it gets.

I don't see a problem unless Gallant decides to throw him in the top 6 for some reason.

Didn’t he have chemistry with Chytil in his rookie season, Vesey‘s last season with the Rangers? I can seem them on the 3rd line with Lafy moving up to the top 6. Better than Hunt or Goat in the top 9. They should be in the AHL. Vesey at least can score more than 5 goals. something Gauhtier has never done.
