The 100th Meridian
Celebratory tunes.

The leather soles go shuffling in
Stinking of smoke and ten cent gin
Now who will toast our noble host that has this morning given up the ghost?
The wooden coffer hand to hand
Kind words are offered, silent prayers
But she is satisfied the most while stabbing madly at the roast
The rib of Adam, the eyes of Eve
The sons of Cain receive no reprieve
The rib of Adam, the eyes of Eve
The sons of Cain receive no reprieve
The creditor rides with his men
The death of debtors he won't forgive
They repossess his silver eyes, now in the potter's field he lies
The rib of Adam, the eyes of Eve
The sons of Cain receive no reprieve
The rib of Adam, the eyes of Eve
The sons of Cain receive no reprieve
Waiting for a dead man's shoes
Have you heard the latest news?

Nice win!

To beat the leagues top team without Trouba and Scheif, two of our best players, this win carries some weight. They are a very good team, they were rested and they were completely healthy. We matched up quite nicely with them, speed wise we held our own, and we definitely have the edge in physical department. Insert a Trouba and Scheif, we might be the better team.

Thought Buff played well on the backend. Lowry was solid coming back from injury. Roslo keeps getting better game by game. His attention to detail defensively has been a welcome addition to Wheeler. He plays almost like a center on that line and he has lightened the load for Wheeler in getting pucks out of our zone. He drives plays, solid on the forecheck and continues to create offensive opportunities.

Hutch played well, but I am going to say this, he makes me appreciate the technical precision that Helly plays the position at. Hutch often slides past the post, and he tends to cheat a bit. He looked a bit out of position a few times tonight. But he was solid and made some important stops in the third. He also slowed the game down with glove saves, when Tampa was pressing.

Not to pick nits, but missing Palat. Still, largely intact.
