They don't have a single likeable player on their roster. All of their top players are either dirty or embellishers.

If this series goes the full 5 games, you guys are gonna absolutely despise Giordano by the end of it. Tkachuk gets all the main hate, but Giordano is low-key dirtier because his plays are sneaky dirty. "I was just trying to make a defensive play" lol. Guy purposely dives at opponents' feet. That's something I'd expect to see in a EASHL video game, not in a real life NHL game.

This basically is the same reaction many jets fans (myself included) had after game 1 and how those two players essentially took out Scheifele and Laine in that described fashion, many comments around Giordano I never noticed before regarding his low key dirty play

(A bit ironic I didn’t realize how those two played because I lived many years in Calgary, and as such one would think I’d have learned a thing or two about the local team...but I guess I just never paid any attention at all to the flames ever...I always gave away any flames tickets I’d win or would happen to come across by, never took a date to flames games unless it was post-Jets return, I guess I was a fringe nhl fan prior to jets return, and immediate jets fan the moment TNSE almost purchased the coyotes)

I need to rewatch this, but I think he might have gotten a stick on that Lucic chance in the 3rd period. Other than that, I think he really only had great save this game. Goals were basically unstoppable, unfortunately.

he had a few more solid ones earlier in the game.
the "problem" with Helle is that he looks unspectacular most of the time.
but the one on Lucic was a good recovery

I agree with this, and they should play Harkins way more. I think I'd even play him over Eakins. He's a grinding type forward, with nice scoring hands.

Ehlers had 1 very bad blind pass. I don't mind the 1 bad penalty because I want to smash Tkachuks face in as well. I thought majority of his game was fine and not shit.
You want players who play with heart and grit and he did.
He should play calmer tomorrow and with purpose now that he has gotten some of the emotion out of his system.

Wrt Eakin, I maintain what I said Saturday. I'm half convinced he'd dump the puck into the corner on a penalty shot.

Giordano would dump the puck, crosscheck the goalie from behind, and then beak the ref for the rest of the game for not calling that penalty back in the first when he tripped on Lowry's laces as he was setting up for the sneaky slewfoot.

Seriously, that bellyflop that sent Lowry into the end boards was dangerous as hell and should have been called as such. Whatta knucklehead.

Once in while he should throw himself towards the puck like what the Flames goalie did on KC's breakaway.
So east coast will take notice when they watch plays of the night highlights

Flames do try to throw those extra punch, cross checks after the plays.

Super proud of the boys today. They needed some guys to step up today and they did.
Calgary has rarely looked really dangerous to me yet in this series. I think the Jets can take the series even if 55 and 29 don’t return. Having said that, I’m confident at least one of them will be back soon.
