When Pomo was asked about splitting up Wheeler and Schief I laughed out loud when he essentially said, “I hear the fans, but i run the bench”. Pure Gold.

After hours with Scott Oake interview of Maurice was a beauty.

Oake is better than any of those hnic hacks and Maurice as usual highly entertaining.

The clip of him screaming you gotta move at unamed player followed by "or that" when he scores was classic.

Oh yeah the game was great too. Nice win. Connor needed some OT PP time. Good for Little. Loved the snow.

I'll open by giving credit to Regina for putting on a first class event. The snow in October was the perfect backdrop, reminded me of childhood games. Great ice.

Congrats Bryan Little on the GWG. We missed him in the lineup, we always do. He deserved the role of hero for this evening, he's first class. I enjoyed reading his diary leading up to the game.

Can Paul Maurice get a little credit. He looked like he was having a lot more fun out there than Bill Peters. He made the switch to put Morrissey on the 1st PP, and Morrissey led the team with a great goal. I was yelling for the clapper all night, on snowy ice it's the best shot. That was a bomb.

Tucker Poolman had a very strong game tonight. Impressed with his smarts out there.

Hellebuyck solid tracking the puck and battling.

Nice to be a winner. Coming back sure beats blowing leads. In the dogfight for points to get to the playoffs, knocking off the Flames is important.

Post-game audio:

Players: Blake Wheeler, Bryan Little and Josh Morrissey.

Coach Maurice scrum topics: Coach Maurice: On Bryan Little getting the game winner. Can a win on this stage be more than just one win/two points? Why put Josh Morrissey back on the first power play unit at that time? What was the explanation on the challenge? How does he feel his team executed? How much does he think this measured as a classic game? Did he ever have a sense that they were giving fans an experience that they were really enjoying?
