maybe i'm alone here, but if you're going to have McTavish on the roster, not playing him in the home opener is a dick move. you're going to play this guy anyway, why not let him play in one of the few ever home openers we ever get?

Seems like they really wanted to have two veterans with Zegras if he's centering the top line.
My only concern with line 2 is that it will be super predictable that whenever Getz or Terry have the puck they are gonna pass it to Comtois.
I just hope Terry and Getzlaf will try shooting the puck more.

At this point, the only way losing Fleury in the expansion was acceptable is if he gets waived and we pick him up.

Considering Seattle's management I wouldn't rule out the possibility of it happening, but boy am I glad we could protect Steel and Des while playing only one of them a night.

Things I am looking forward to watching:

• Zegras
• Ducks powerplay if there are any improvements
• Lindholm-Drysdale pairing
• Terry's game and if there's any strength improvements
• If Comtois last shortened season wasn't the luckiest one I have ever seen for a Ducks player. Let's see if he makes those bounces, deflections, puck luck continue to work for him, I hope to god they do because we need a goal scorer desperately.
