We were all pulling for the shut out despite some posters mentioning the unmentionable before the mentionable materialized
I mentioned that loudly at the game tonight… when the score was 1 / nil…. Just B4 we got the Pps and Vilardi scored twice.

In this instance it was not a curse to say it but ignited the 3/ nil victory.

I was wondering a bit @ the end though .!

Just when Stanley iced the puck with 15 seconds to go!

That broadcast team was way more positive toward the Jets than any Canadian broadcasting team.
I actually stayed out of the GDT so that I could focus on the broadcast. I wanted to actually get a feel for what Prime was delivering and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

I don't know if it was by design or just a good crew but they were pretty much unbiased from my perspective. There was a pretty good balance of commentary, coverage and features on both teams. Talk about Nashville's off-season and their struggles. Talk about the Jets and how well many of the players are playing.

I honestly can't remember them making reference to another Canadian team and they didn't seem butt hurt that the Jets actually won.

Now off to cancel Amazon Prime...

I hate the fact that this is the way the world is going with sports only available on streaming platforms, but i have to admit i quite liked the commentators for Amazon Prime and enjoyed the broadcast. Much better than those assclowns at Sportsnet.
Get used to it streaming is the future, cable much like radio is dying a slow death

Remember back to FA frenzy, how everyone crowned the Preds having the best summer in the NHL, were then crowned cup favourites………..I’m never sad about not having any big FA signings in July, I swear it’s a trap for GM’s.

Sure but on the other hand, I felt like quite a number of veteran users here were like "sure they look good on paper but let's see how smart throwing out those contract to potentially 'washed up players' will look like eventually". But I don't think anybody would have predicted them to be THIS bad.

I'd be so freaking frustrated as a Preds fan right now. Future looks dim.
