I don't think this is correct. Same announcer for both teams.

Yes, the current 3rd line is good. The 2015 line was better. Small sample, but it was a lot better.

Roslo can't be trusted at centre defensively. That is why he rarely gets slotted in up the middle. Alot of speed and possible offense but can't be trusted defensively.
That is why Eakin was acquired. If PoMo had trust in Roslo at centre he would be up the middle with Ehlers and Laine.

There are 6 teams but only 2 spots. It will be tough. Many of those teams play each other down the road. If 90 points gets them in that means they need 8 more wins minimum in 14 games as I said possible but not an easy road to travel.

Actually there are 3 spots available. Out of the 6 teams fighting for the WC spot, the highest of the Pacific teams will take 3rd in their division. Going 8-6 in the last month is not an unreasonable ask for a team to secure a playoff spot. Though 9-5 is more likely the number that locks up a spot. Either way were are in the think of the fight with 5 other teams that all have their flaws. We will end up just in or just out and it will come down to the last few games. I can see the April 4th game against the Yotes being a win and your in game.

Good point. But, OTOH, trusting Roslo a C on a 2nd line is not the same as trusting him there on a 3rd line. Harkins-Roslovic-Appleton have chemistry. They were great offensively. Harkins and Appleton cover for Roslovic's defensive weakness. Harkins-Copp-Appleton is very good defensively, but not much offensively.

So play Eakin at 2C, but keep H-R-A together.

So far, the 2nd line with Eakin has looked good but hasn't produced offensively at all. They keep getting chances and coming close so they should start scoring. But what if they don't? We will have a 2nd line that doesn't score, a 3rd line that doesn't score and a 4th line that hardly plays at all. Opponents will focus on stopping Connor and we won't have any scoring.

Are you sure? One requires an excess of ebullience, the other a considerable measure of gravitas. Is it reasonable to expect one person could be the master of both?

IMHO

We should keep CSW together as they don't suck defensively anymore for some reason. Although last game wasn't exactly a Picasso in that regard, but some of the games won't be. Maurice should have a tight leash on this group defensively because they can absolutely light it up and if it keeps the players happy then so be it, we ain't got time aiiight. If Maurice allows them to cheat offensively again, it will be a double whammy of suck. They have done a good job in this regard IMO, but they cannot relent an inch.

Keep Eakin with Laine and Ehlers. They can do damage, and they are a super fresh line. Eakin is a rich man's Copp in my eyes.

Roll the 2015 third line. Copp slots in for whoever is injured.

Got the numbers to back that up? I don't have the time or the will but I'd bet there's a stark difference between his defensive numbers as a center and his numbers as a winger.
