Keith Tkachuk was an asshole and it's easy to see the apples don't fall far from the tree.

Demelo so calm and steady. Outside Poolman that D corps looked serviceable.

Hopefully Schiefele and Ehlers go on a bit of a tear now. Wheeler really fought the puck tonight

If things stay this way the Jets play Edmonton first round or Vancouver most likely. Both of those matchups are fine with me and quite frankly ideal.
I think I'd like to play the oilers. Was at the game in Tampa and outside of McJesus and Draisaitl none of their players scare me offensively.

Yup - If Wheeler can get it going, that top line will make hay - he's a bit too casual out there with his plays at both ends.
It's not like he's terrible by any means but I'd like to see him drive the net more and play with the puck less.

Edit: I should have said make MORE hay - they're already rocking pretty good :D

Well we have 69 points -and only 6 points out of 3rd place , and 7 points out of 2nd place. All you need is one of those teams to go on a downer and lose 4 straight --and we're sitting nice, providing we keep winning. All this could very well happen as St.Louis lost 5 straight just in the last couple weeks. (a little while ago)

As for the Wild card spot --we are also in control of our own destiny, as I believe we have 2 games left against Calgary and Arizona? --and we seem to be playing well. I'm going by memory but haven't checked the schedule on this ? -- but I believe we have 2 games against both left. Things are looking up.

Also with Chef and Wheeler together again -Scheifele has come alive, but it would be nice to pick up one more big talented D-man.

Anywhich way --we're looking good, and playing well, and the Jet's "really" need the playoff revenues, so I hope they keep rolling on this road trip. :thumbu:

They play for the dollars for themselves to hell whether they play with a quality team around them or not...

I think you're focusing a little too much on big. Will be interesting to see where perrault and lowry fit.
