Before I saw the Leafs / Sabres score, I saw this headline on SB Nation.

I CANNOT EMPHASIZE enough how giddy I was with anticipation as I clicked on the out-of-town scores on the NHL website.

And when I got to the Leafs / Sabres score, well... you probably heard my cackles from across the city.

Well Leafs saviour Keefe was supposed to miraculously make Hutch an excellent back up, yah know.

I was thinking this as well, on how controlled they look as a group.

Well that's a win. All that I asked for me and you. We'll take it. Kinda like it when I drink for happiness, for sorrow it is not that fun, but it has been done.

For a team that's defence just... died after last year. Giving zero goals to the opponent, It cant be that bad? What better we would do... negative one? That would be a first one.

Glad I'm glad. Glad I'm not going to be hungover when I wake up. Though, if I don't take it easy, it's my birthday so in the evening (2am right now). If I don't give a s...t, my Sunday morning might be a bit ouch. Yes, I'm milking my birthday all the way! I'm in a comfortable place when I really don't feel young but neither old. That's not gonna last forever so I'll keep my approach. To the battle and winning more games. Go Jets Go!

I can't see your image. Is it a picture of your wife getting the entire bed and you sleeping on the couch while burping and farting all night? Asking cuz that's how my wife would want to be rewarded after feeding me a meal like that!

This is the first game I was able to watch in its entirety this month as I was travelling. It's good to watch hockey again:

CSL: There was a fire drill everytime the puck was in the Jets d-zone and this line was on the ice. They were lucky that they didn't concede mulitple goals tonight.

EWR: Very solid. Wheeler doing an admiral job in the middle and Ehlers really driving the bus.

CLP: Good all round game by these. Perreault had great energy. Lowry could be a comfortable 20 goal scorer if his hands were slightly softer.

He won't necessarily keep this up, but he's almost certainly the current Vezina favourite.
