Prospect Info: Jets Prospects

I would definitely like to see Chibrikov over here to get some more control of his development.
Lethbridge has his rights I believe, maybe give him some moose time and ship him to the W ala Lambert. It appears to have done wonders for him.

He'd be too old for the Dub next year. It would be the Moose for him.

Edit nm saw someone replied already.

I think Holm has bounced back well from last season. Last season was his first year in NA hockey. NHL backup might be his ceiling but I would want to give him a little more time.

Salminen is in a similar position. This is his first season in NA. He has shown potential in the past.

I'm not really optimistic. I just think it is a little early to write-off those 2. And then there is Divincentiis. Might be a little early to be getting too excited about him.
Nope, get ahead of the curve, jump start the bandwagon.... pretty sure he is the 2nd coming of Martin Brodeur & Dominic Hasek! :sarcasm:

To be clear, I am really excited by DD. But I am reminding myself that he is still a very long way from the NHL. Even Helle took until D+5 to get the starting job in Wpg. And he was pretty mediocre that year with a 90.7 sv%. It was in D+6 that he arrived as a top 5 goalie in the league.

I agree. Just like Lambert, Mcgroarty and all those others. Great to be excited about their potential but a long runway to actually be a contributing member to the big club.

DiVincentiis getting recognized again.
The kid and his work ethic are out of this world. I see him on Canada’s 2024 WJHC roster.

Anybody know the reasoning behind Svechkov getting called up to Khimik for the VHL playoffs but not Chibrikov yet? There was a user here recently that seemed to be more in the know for Russian players but I can't remember who it was and don't have a minute to backtrack.

How are we feeling on chibrikov? His season didn't go as hoped IMO, since I believed he'd get more KHL PT on a different team than SKA and expected more production.

I’m willing to give him 3 more years. Poor season, but I’m not writing him off until/if he comes to North America.

Lamberts stock has exploded since he came over (as an example, not comparing him to Brad). Maybe Chibrikov is unhappy about his development in Russia and forces his way here.

Yeah I have to assume chibrikov would perform similarly against junior players since he did in the MHL
