A lot of b2b's in the AHL. Lets see how this works out in another 30-40 games.

They have a B2B this weekend and had 3 games in 3 nights last weekend. Nikkanen and Reichel also didn't play.

I might not do it but eh I can see the thought process of easing them into NA pro hockey. Lots of quality AHL F's too so you're not killing the team.

I was quite happy with that pick. He has the size, skating and skill that is he puts it together could be a nice all around top 4 dmen. If he really puts it together first pairing isn't out of the question.

After scoring 0 points in the first 9 games of the season, Elias Salomonsson playing on the second pair has quietly put up 5 points in his last 8 games. His team sits a respectable 3rd in the SEL. Also would like to remind everybody of his late August birthday. He just turned 18 a little over two months ago. He is starting to get my attention. But that might be the desperation talking. I have waited for a decent right handed defensive prospect in the system for so long.

Given his KHL play and age when he gets here I'm sure he'd be ready for the NHL like a bunch of similar Russian players. If he's not put him on the AHL but i think he'd be good to go.
