Grumpier than usual Sip.

lucious, chibrikov, rashevsky...

Add Chisholm, Gawanke, Gustafsson, Smith and possibly a few others who haven't stepped up yet but still might.

Kuzmin looks to have adjusted nicely to his first year in NA

Yes he is really coming on now. I would like to view a few of his full games or his shift by shift to see more. Starting to assert himself though for sure.

Anybody seen why Lucius has been out this weekend and last? Hoping the knee issues haven’t returned
They are not saying anything other than, "He's out." week after week. It's very fishy.

Feb 18 was the first game he missed, took the warm up didn't play.

Reference to a possible foot injury. Considering his history, hope it's not an issue with a bone bruise not responding to treatment. Even a high ankle sprain would be better than that scenario.

Kuzmin should join the Moose next year!

Flint is a bigger war zone than Belarus and he cannot even drin the water.

I do not know what dynamics are involved for him to renew his work visa this summer for him to play on the Moose.

It may be in his best interest to try and stay in North America over the off season.

On his draft day promo behind the scenes documentary his grandmother who raised him said that she may never see him again if he plays in NA next year.

If I were him I would explore every way to stay in NA if possible. I know foreign NHL'rs some time stay in NA over the summer to train (Pettersson did for e.g.), not sure how it works visa wise but if there's a way I'd try to find it to stay in either US/Canada if possible this summer.

This is definitely a pivotal point for world politics and international relationships. Maybe it's too optimistic, but there is also a small chance that this is Putin's downfall and Russians could push back. But the propaganda is strong.

I think a lot of athletes, like our draft picks, just want to play hockey (and live a comfortable lifestyle) - but I think you're likely right... Governments like to use athletes as political pawns.
I wonder if Russia draws a line in the sand and forces their pro athletes to return to Russia?
