Kuzmin looks to have adjusted nicely to his first year in NA
They are not saying anything other than, "He's out." week after week. It's very fishy.Anybody seen why Lucius has been out this weekend and last? Hoping the knee issues haven’t returned
What's fishy about a team not disclosing an injury? They are not saying anything other than, "He's out." week after week. It's very fishy.
What is that, 3 weeks now? What's fishy about a team not disclosing an injury?

Can the Gophers shake off the bye weekend and get back to their winning wayswww.thedailygopher.com
Reference to a possible foot injury. Considering his history, hope it's not an issue with a bone bruise not responding to treatment. Even a high ankle sprain would be better than that scenario.
Pretty major knee surgery in his draft year last season. He basically had to relearn how to walk. What is this injury history people are referring to?
If I were him I would explore every way to stay in NA if possible. I know foreign NHL'rs some time stay in NA over the summer to train (Pettersson did for e.g.), not sure how it works visa wise but if there's a way I'd try to find it to stay in either US/Canada if possible this summer. It may be in his best interest to try and stay in North America over the off season.
Is it anti-jock hate speech to suggest that a guy with a name like "Chaz Lucius" isn't exactly going to rip it up academically?Any chance Lucious’ issue is academic rather than physical?
I wonder if Russia draws a line in the sand and forces their pro athletes to return to Russia? This is definitely a pivotal point for world politics and international relationships. Maybe it's too optimistic, but there is also a small chance that this is Putin's downfall and Russians could push back. But the propaganda is strong.
I think a lot of athletes, like our draft picks, just want to play hockey (and live a comfortable lifestyle) - but I think you're likely right... Governments like to use athletes as political pawns.
I wouldn't be surprised to see major defections, then. Russia's economy is a train wreck...I wonder if Russia draws a line in the sand and forces their pro athletes to return to Russia?
