Smith has a great story... the roller hockey kid.... really hope they give him a shot cuz from what I've seen this kids skill and vision is on another level. Older yes but still...

Agree. It’s his vision that really convinces me that he has a shot at a really nice NHL career. Could be a great play driver and set up guy.

They're 3 games in now and I think that was the whole tournament.
Correct, Rashevsky is back with his KHL team and has an assist 4 minutes into his first game back after not getting anything in the tournament. Chibrikov did not play for his VHL team today.

EDIT: Actually it was 1 minute into the game.

I know it is early and it is not all about points BUT I would like to see Perfetti scoring more.

Well he just put up 3 points last night and could have had more. Up to 9 in 11 games.

I'm not worried about his offense as he's generating numerous grade A chances a game and will go through some ups and downs in terms of scoring as moat pros do. He's really there to get the other areas of his game ironed out and ready for the NHL level.

While I don't like Chibrikov being sent down, Chibrikov-Svechkov-Michkov sounds like an insanely good MHL line.

Nathan Smith had 2G1A last night.
He’s scoring a pretty good clip right now.

I’m not as bullish on Smith as a lot of others are but it’s good to see this. Hopefully he joins the Moose later this year when his college season is over.

Smith always stands out in his highlights package the way guys like Appleton never did. He has the skill and the hands, question is if it translates at the next level.

When Nathan Smith joins the Jets we’ll have cornered the market on Nates/Nathan, Schmidt/Smith. Not to mention Connors and Dillon/Dylan.

Beyak will be so tongue tied

It wouldn't shock me to see him have an outstanding World Juniors
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't make the team at all. I have 7 locks ahead of him, 3 more ahead of him but debatable, 5 more he's competing with, and 5 more that are in their draft years that Sweden might consider taking over him.

EDIT: Talking about Torgersson here.

He's sort of in that Petan group. Needs to develop the skills to play bottom 6 to get into the league cause he isn't going to walk into the top 6, and might settle out as a third liner anyway. Also, skating, play without the puck.

Anton Johannesson just got his first point, a goal, since we drafted him.

EDIT: goal was credited to someone else. No assist for him either.

Chibrikov with 1G1A again today in the MHL. His linemate, 16 year old phenom Matvei Michkov, scored 5 goals.

Kuzmin with 2A last night, up to 1G8A in 10 games.
