Fair enough I remembered incorrectly. Still dont agree at all with his take on all around skating rankings.

he's been kinda high on heinola from the get-go and was saying he should be in the nhl pretty quickly upon being drafted.

so what he said he has a weakness in his game, a weakness that has commonly been questioned by others too. he never said it would hinder his chances at being a contributing NHLer.

Chibrikov cracks the roster for game 1 of the season, albeit on the 4th line. Interesting that he made it but Svechkov, who was drafted 1 pick after Lucius, did not. Michkov also didn't crack the opening night roster.
Chibrikov finishes with 6:39 TOI, no shots, no points.

Correction: Michkov did play. 13th forward but still played 13:15 and had 4SOG. Kid's going to be nuts.

Kraskovsky starts the season as #1 center.
Finishes with 15:19TOI, 3SOG, no points.

Torgersson has played one game in the preseason/none in the Champions Cup. The game he played was as the 13th forward. Seems unlikely he makes the big club this year.

Nikkanen played two games as 2C, then was moved down to 4C for the remainder of the preseason games, which was 2 or 3. No points for him in those games.

Chibrikov vs Kraskovsky today. Kraskovsky with 1A but Chibrikov's team wins in the shootout. Chibrikov played just under 10 minutes but remains on the 4th line.

Hard to know what Rashevsky's potential is. Great hands. Crafty. Not a burner. Late developer. I guess a player like Guentzel is the optimistic dream for top end potential.
