Milic pulled tonight allowing 4 goals on 15 shots, had an assist and wasn't credited with the loss as the team ended up losing in OT.

Barlow and the rest of his team were shut out tonight. He's sitting at 14 points in 14 games at the moment.

Random question:

Who are the top two prospects that you are the most excited to see in a Jets sweater? It doesn't have to be the two highest ranking prospects, just who you are the most excited to see.

I'd go McGroaty as my #1. Mostly because his personality when he was interviewed, but also because of his on ice play.

Hard for me to pick a #2. I'm going to go with Milić, as I'm hoping he can become another Helle, (and I like his last name ;) )

In the …if anyone still cares dept
Currently Vesalainen is 7th in scoring in Liiga
Niku is 2nd top scorer in the Liiga league

Is Niku any better defensively yet?

These 2 players clearly have talent but they also have flaws in their games. Somehow Jets failed to take advantage of the talent and mitigate the flaws. I honestly don't know how or why they failed. Just like in personal relationships, sometimes you just can't find the connection needed.

McGroarty and Salomonsson (who is probably at least 2 years away from the NHL)
These are my two as well. I think they'll both see NHL action next season, though maybe limited in Salomonsson's case.

Yup, my 2 also.

There are several other intriguing prospects but I think McG has the best chance of hitting it big and Salomonsson is potentially just what we need.

Apparently Salmonsson hurt:

Really hope he recovers in time for for World Juniors, was looking forward to seeing him in that tournament. Looks like a shoulder injury based on that clip.

Wagner playing though, had an assist today and is wearing an A.

As much as I am cheering for a lot of these prospects my two 2 are Salmonsson and Lucius. I hope Lucious has just had bad luck and timing. He looked deadly in WHL stint last year.

For more it would be McGroarty #1. After that probably Lambert.
For me Lambert is number one. I remember watching him in the 2021 WJC and thinking the Jets would never draft high enough to get a talent like him. Low and behold he has a few up and down years and drops huge in his draft year. Now that he seems to be putting it together I'm loving it. I love his style too. He definitely has lots of potential, even if he's likely to only be a depth piece.

Salmonsson is my #2, mostly because the position he plays is a HUGE need for this team. If he jump starts his career and has a big next two years he will be the most important prospect we have.

Looks like Julien was in an entertaining game last night. Score was 7-6 halfway through and they won 10-7 in the end. Two assists for Julien.

Wagner's playing 2nd line wing and wearing an A at the 5 nation's Cup. 2 goals today, one on the power play, in a 9-1 win.
