I can live him going to the Nuks. They have been around for a long while with some major disappointments and with no cups. Also have a lot of family on the West Coast. Transplanted Winnipegers with dual allegiance to the Jets and Canucks.

It is always a good story when the home town boy plays for the home team (Bedard is from N Van). After all the **** we have had thrown our way from some insufferable Habs fans that is the one team I dont want to see win the lottery.

Besides they have had enough luck in the last few seasons to last them.

That was a helluva nail-biter of a game. Was glad to see Bedard finally end it.

Slovaks way outclassed but they just wouldn't go away. Credit to them.

I guess it is too late to get Mo back so we can tank for Bedard, eh.

Good post.

If it was a Canadian team I think I would choose the post Melnyk Sens. I have spent allot of time in Ottawa over the years due to business interests and friends and I love the city. I think a Bedard vs Matthews (if the Leafs can extend him) rivalry would be juicy.

Ottawa has a good base of young talent and prospects and Bedard would be that franchise altering talent that would put them over the top.

Nice team to move into their new arena in 5 or 6 years. Battle of Ontario would be full force.

Nooooooooo

I will hate the Canucks forever! I lived in Vancouver during the series when the Jets were up 3-1 on then and they came back to win. Canucks fans were intolerable.

Then i had to tolerate the Luongo Sedin x2 years.

I want the curse of the nucks to live forever!

I want him to end up in Florida simply because I think having Miami as a strong franchise is important to league health and selfishly id be able to watch him play in person more.

I'm being mostly facetious with my desire to see the Habs win it. I like poking things, and Leafs fans are a fun thing to poke. Eventually somebody has to win him, and I prefer it to be a team the Jets don't have to deal with all that often.

He goes to Arizona, then a couple of years from now they sign Mathews as a FA and then their new building will be almost complete with people demanding season tickets. Gary Bettman has spoken

Complaints about Lambert, but Lekkerimaki for Sweden has been just as disappointing if not more so this tournament. Vancouver can't seem to catch a break.

I've liked Fabian Wagner though. Short tournament sample but I think he could chip in as a bottom 6 guy with the Jets.
