So far, I'm liking what I'm seeing. There's far more activation from the back end, more neutral zone disruption, and more aggressive forechecking. Stan had a couple of poor moments, and people are fighting the puck somewhat. They seem to have something of a breakout scheme that's more than just D to D with the forwards flying the zone.

Yeah that is what preseason is for and why I don't put much stock in performances. Vets are all just trying to get back into a groove.

Yup, definitely liking the more Aggressiveness all over the ice.

Liking Gawanke and Chisholm again. Both fit the puck moving and activation profile we are looking for.

Stanley needs to up his game by a lot of he wants to hold off Samberg/Heinola for that 6th spot.

He always does, and does smart things but everyone writes him off their rosters. I really want to see him on a scoring line or with a few pp minutes.
