I actually think Patrick Roy is the type of coach the Jets really need right now -- someone that's passionate about hockey, and very intense, and hates to lose. He did a great job for the first couple years in Colorado, and didn't have a whole lot to work with. I'd be in favour of this.
Maurice has had plenty of time to show what he can do, and it looks like he's losing the players right now. He can't even figure out how to stop a one man hockey team, by at least controlling him - McDavid.

We haven’t looked good for almost 3 seasons.
Until there are coaching changes what you see is what you get.
Helle’s got bulging discs from carrying this team on his back the last 2 years.

I know +/- is taken with a grain of salt, but after this game there is only 1 right-winger in the NHL with a worse +/- than Wheeler...and only 3 forwards in the entire league.
Eric Staal : -28
Patrik Laine : -25
Sam Reinhart : -25
Nolan Patrick : -21
Blake Wheeler : -21
But I'm sure Maurice is good with this because of Wheelers 0.81 points per game.

Good on Stastny for telling it like it is in the press conference. This is a team that is incredibly undisciplined in terms of adhering to its systems.
This team doesn't play like a Team, it plays like a bunch of individuals.
The team either comes together and actually plays like a team or we crash and burn the rest of the year and then the org needs to ask itself some hard questions.

The culture on this team is sour milk and it starts from the coach down.
I can't believe what Scheif has turned into. He was so driven as a younger player, he's been coasting for years now. Connor doesn't even know what the defensive zone is. Wheeler is a liability defensively.

I would love to coach the Jets with @Ginger Papa , the team would suck but man it would be funny.
Our first coaches only meeting. Yup we have a few vets that you can count on to play the right way most of the time (Copp, Lowry, Morrissey) but it is more then offset by the two main leaders playing how they feel like in Schiefele and Wheeler.
I actually liked the energy the team came out with but then the 1st goal happened and everything went downhill from there.

Maurice has to go because after getting sand kicked in our face for 2 straight games this team should have come out flying all night last night, just for pride if not a win . I will say this too , why does Chevy keep signing these old 4th line players and brutal defensemen ? If he does it because Maurice asks for them then he's not doing a good enough job either. If he's signing these guys because he thinks they are good then he's not a good GM . Poolman is barely a 7th defensemen in the NHL and he gets first pairing minutes, that's sad and we expect to be able to stop a player like McJesus , ya ok .

The 25 odd man rushes after turnovers and poor efforts by the forwards to help out didn't help.
55 has tuned out Maurice... 26 probably hasn't cuz he's still getting his minutes but... 55 certainly has. Scheif needs a major attitude and effort adjustment.

Yeah it is apparent to me that he hasn't been able to get this team to adhere to his systems for a few years now. It was over for him after 2019 here.
That doesnt excuse the poor play or lack of caring by Scheifele though.

Just finished checking the half and half as a matter of fact.
Beautiful. Right after the first time I watched it, I went on a White Russian binge, but it made me bloated and my face broke out!
Simply put, the Cohens can do no wrong. My list of favorite movies of all time are liberally sprinkled with their titles. I must have watched Lebowski, Fargo, Miller's Crossing and Barton Fink about a dozen times each. I even liked Intolerable Cruelty!
... and now back to our regularly scheduled program of dissecting the corpse of the Winnipeg Jets.
