There are other references to the anti-inflammatory properties of curcumin...so someone has done some #Science

But we can wait for the peer review journal, or take my father's first had experience with the stuff. He had is leg pulled out of socket and behind him with his foot by his head in a bad motorcycle accident when he was young and had nagging hip problems his whole life, is 69 years old and says his hip bugs him much less when he takes Tumeric.

If all else fails, he can make up some truly wicked home made curry spice...that HAS to be win no matter what.

that link you gave: the clear majority of the journals listed as references are suspect at best. any "scientific" article that uses "many" instead of actual statistics is already quackery or poorly written. "many" humans have been to the moon. so, more than 2?

not slagging you or your family's choice of therapy. but i haven't seen any clear data to make me (professionally) recommend tummeric to patients

I'm certainly no UFC fan - but man am I glad Rousey got it handed to her last night. Complete domination. About time.

Me too, that was great. Gameplan executed perfectly by Holm.

I watched some analysis this morning - said that Holm was only in trouble once the entire match and worked her way out quite easily.

Also heard Rousey was in hospital all last night because she was showing severe concussion symptoms, including some cognitive "slips".

I saw the highlights on sports desk this morning. I am not into UFC and watching women fight is kind of gross for my tastes but as a former Boxing fan this one didn't look too complicated to breakdown. Holm was a lefty and Rousey wasn't prepared for strait lefts that were coming right down main street.

True greatness in Boxing and maybe in UFC is never defined by how well you beat on lesser foe it is defined by how you respond when you get knocked down, bloodied, and or are getting your a55 kicked. The great ones that can dish it out are separated into elite status if they can get up off the mat dig deep and find a way to win. full stop.

Rousey pretty clearly didn't know what the hell was going on at the decision. Even in the 2nd round it seemed like she was having some trouble tracking Holm and keeping her balance. Severe concussion isn't a surprise.

She reminds me of the early top UFC fighters on the men's side. Not very versatile but not really challenged as the rest of the fighters were the same. She had an "unstoppable" ground game. She basically got caught in a kickboxing match against someone who is a boxer last night. As the women's side evolves and they actually bring in the best female fighters, Rousey will fall by the wayside. Hope she has a good financial advisor.

Rousey is still a pretty good fighter, she'll just need to adjust and considering that she is a professional fighter, she'll be fine.

I agree with PS though...I think women fights are just weird.

But she'll be back, of that I'm sure.

And she has movie deals and **** and is currently the highest paid fighter in the UFC. She'll be fine.

Holm looked fitter, faster, and stronger. Superior movement and timing, and got out of danger when she needed to. Really well prepared, and it won her the gold.

That duck under in round 2 was a thing of beauty!

Rousy did not play to her strengths and came in with a horrible game plan and did not deviate from it. I don't know if she was to stubborn, full of herself or what. World class Judo and ground game.......yet she thought she could stand there and bang with a world class striker. Lesson learned, enjoy your humble pie ronda

**** they are talking about a big storm starting up tomorrow or Wednesday. Was hoping maybe it just wasn't going to happen this year

Have tickets with a buddy for the Jets game as well on Wednesday. Would be great if I didn't have to deal with icy roads.

Shouldn't be a problem after heeding my words of wisdom and putting winter tires on your vehicle. ;)
