Lots of faults to be had, but Wheeler's off side is still irking me. How hard can it be to watch the puck go on side before moving your feet???

Laine only deserves a two year, <5M AAV deal to see if he can actually live up to his draft spot.

4 man umbrella basically equals 2 on 1 the other way once you lose the puck. The whole point of the umbrella is having the option down low and the point option, without either the defenders can just sit in one passing lane and wait. Bizarre tactics. Obviously not something they practice much but you'd hope the coaches could see how that would be defended just by counting on their fingers.

We finally got to see the awesome force that Wheeler-Scheifele-Laine is together. What everyone has been clamoring for; the spinach for Popeye. The magic word for Shazam. The ring of Hercules. The Hulk getting angry. Wolverine going berserk. It was truly transformative; hope everyone enjoyed it.

There are more issues then Just Laine’s play as of late. I can’t understand why people are so focused on what only he is doing and not the rest of the top guys.

Does no one else get frustrated when wheels and chief caught up the puck, cheat defensively, make bad passes, etc. Sure there great but come on they make just as many mistakes and are never held accountable. Instead they play in every scenario. Time to cut the minutes back as well.

The PP is predictable.. . pressure Wheeler.. He folds.. SJ did it all night.

Ppl like to pick out 1 guy here... But i just cant get over how much coasting 55 and 26 are allowed to get away with. 55 literally does nothing in the D zone.. These are your leaders and your kids like Laine see them doing that without consequences. Its got to be tough for mates to see 55 and 26 literally give up on the D zone with zero consequences. Ill say it... We lost this game because our coaching who surprisingly lost his 1500th game overplays 55 and 26 even when they are the 2 biggest floaters on the ice. Losing 44 didnt help as 8 is as dumb as a bag of rocks.

That goal did not get scored because the players on the ice were too tired or coasting. That goal got scored due to something that happens way too many times when the puck is close to Laine's stick.

Yes the other stars getting paid reasonable rates at 6 mil Schief and Ehlers. Glad Helly can turn it on when he needs to. Kept us in that game.

It's unfortunate that we can't simply deal with it like we would any player playing as poorly as he is - move him to the 4th and let him work his way out of the rut - if that's what he's in. Take him out of high pressure situations until he gets his head back.

It's also nuts putting him out there 4 on 3 when he's playing the way he is - it was a set up for failure.

"The Kid" was on for every single second that 55 and 26 were on. He had a chance to change as well and did not change. If there is any time you can have an extended shift, it is at 4 on 3. That goal did not get scored because the players on the ice were too tired. That goal got scored due to something that happens way too many times when the puck is close to Laine's stick.

Your problem is you are concentrating on 1 play.. Im looking at the game as a whole. 29 did not cost us the game.. Could argue 26 going offside did or could argue without 37.. Those 55 giveaways by 55 end up in the back of our net...

U concentrate on 1 play in a game with 100 different ones tho.

It's looking more and more that it's next year for Laine, he can't find the net and it just makes the rest of his game look worse than it is, the weight on his shoulders is getting heavier and heavier for a kid who is about to turn 21 he looks lost, Jets need to take control of his off season regiment.
