Yup. Like I said, Laine had a decent game and is getting hammered for a puck bobble that just happened to lead to a SH goal. Fans too often remember the one big play, and forget about the overall game.
Whataboutery aside, if you could only dress one of Scheifele or Laine next game, who would you choose?

Well sounds like JoMo is feeling much better and could play tomorrow.

Sounds like Thursday or Saturday, "it will be almost Josh's decision whether he can go or not (on Thursday)" ... "i don't see this as a long-timer boys, nothing structural that we see" ... "more concerned about he's a tough kid and will play through a lot"

rough quotes, anyway

I expect he doesn't play tomorrow and is back on the weekend.

Just finished the game. That game was all but handed to us at the end between the two penalties and a broken stick on one of them. Gave away two points with some lazy play.

or fans remember the good and bad plays that players make that result in consequences.

i mean, we still talk about our #1 pizza delivery boi, do we not?
Who was responsible for the breakaway earlier in the game. Hellebuyck saved that, but not the OT play.

Laine caused at least 2 breakaways for San Jose last night, with one leading to the loss. Enough is enough. It's time to teach Laine a lesson and sit him in the press box for a few games; it's all part of his development. His play and lack of effort is simply unacceptable. I'd be fired from my job if I gave that type of effort on a consistent basis. It's sickening and his teammates must hate him for it.

Is that supposed to be a good question? Yeah, small market, potential super elite score, hits rough patch, RUN HIM THE f*** OUT OF TOWN & SIGN UP THAT SUPER GUY TANEV & LEMIEUX FOR YEARS. why do I suffer this

I'm in your camp on this, if perhaps a bit more subdued.

The short memories and perspectives are pretty irritating, though.

Wheeler must be despised by his teammates then for all the giveaways and long shifts he takes . ;)

Not a bad idea -- either that, or move him down to the 4th line with limited minutes, like they did with Ehlers. He'll get the message this way as well, and it be a little less harsh. You don't want to totally piss him off -- I don't think ??

Wasn’t able to check into the game yesterday or the GDT but had to mention... great GDT @Zhamnov5GoalGame! Petan one was particularily hilarious!
It honestly was going to just be a post I made in the GDT (Roslovic / Kane connection).
But then I quickly came up with 5 or 6 other ideas to plug in and then voila a GDT theme... and a night with very little sleep for me.

I haven't done a GDT in one night like that since last year.
Gotta remember to avoid that.

The Rangers GDT will be much easier I already have around 30% of it done.

I don't think Laine needs any messages sent. Don't throw him a cinder block when he needs a life saver. Put Perrault on that line and see if you can't get him going. Try to give him a hand here.
