best injury broken collar bone, best case no injury... and its a shoulder shitI had that kind of hit. Best case is separated shoulder.
Still not giving Nylander $8 or $7 for that matter.
I didn't say I wasn't concerned....It's just the way shoulders can be. I'm not gonna cry about it.So shoulders are "strange" and once you hurt them once, they continuously just keep getting hurt even on routine body checks.
You're really not concerned about that in regards to Matthews?
Depending on the injury the best option might be to tank and go for a draft pick
I think he has mono. He will be good in 6 months after recovering.
not to worry, the Leafs already have at least one draft pickDepending on the injury the best option might be to tank and go for a draft pick
Did he give it to Marleau?
I like how I say "Let's hope he's back in the 3rd or next game, and we can all put this behind us" and you respond by saying "We don't even know what the injury is yet. So not really a good idea to jump to conclusions."We dont even know what the injury is yet. So not really a good idea to jump to conclusions.
As for Matthews and Nylander, I'd pay more for 60 games of Matthews than I would for 80 games of Nylander.
Why the hell is Hughson keep trying to push this Jets have been dominant narrative?

Yeah. I've dealt with shoulder injuries since 21. This will effect Matthews for his entire career. That said, unlike baseball you can manage shoulder pain in hockey because you're not putting massive strain on those muscles. Im not a doctor but i'm an expert in shoulder injuries and I can say that when you know you're injured, you know right away. Obviously we don't know the exact nature of this but the treatment for rotator, ligament damage is similar. The look on his face you can tell it's serious.I had that kind of hit. I hope this shoulder thing doesn't follow him for the rest of his career.
I wouldn't go that far, but I agree. Tavares is so unlucky he didn't get to end up playing with Nylander yetI feel bad for Tavares. The Leafs without Matthews and Nylander really isn't much better than the Islanders (with Tavares).
