Injury Report: Jets health in the playoffs

The Jets will be trying to bring him in for sure

The only rough part about Boeser is he just can't stay healthy. He'd be a great Nik replacement for his shooting ability and ability to find that soft ice. Would probably work really well with Perfetti. And he'd be a solid Nik replacement on the PP as well but the kid just can't stay healthy.

I just looked at the collision again--very weird, but does not look like a groin pull, more like a lower limb re-injury.

As for seeing the last of him in Wpg, that depends more on the team than on Nik. If they make it through the first two series I am still optimistic he could be back. They need him to go all the way.

Iafallo signing his deal yesterday makes me think there is a leverage point for Chevy to make an offer in the next few weeks. Ehlers' market value has dropped in the aftermath of the injury and so that provides an opportunity amidst the disappointment.
I just don't understand in that scenario why he wasn't favoring one leg.

He wasn't putting weight on either leg and look at the way he gets up off the ice and onto the bench. That looks like a core injury.

If it was a foot or single leg injury, Nik would have been pouring weight on the other leg.

Arniel did say it was a re-aggrevation of an ongoing injury.

Boeser will go to some nobody usa team where he doesn't have to worry about pressure.
I somehow have a very similar feeling actually. He doesn't seem to be crazy about too much attention. Islanders feels like a fit. Columbus maybe? Buffalo?

But as other mentioned, I agree, Wild seems also like a very good fit.

Realistically could Vilardi be ready for game 4 considering he is not skating with the team? Ehlers game 6 or 7? Or honestly just looking at round2 at this point.

If the Jets need to replace Ehlers in the middle 6 I think they need a player that can play fast and provide secondary offense, without being a defensive drag.

I'd look more at fast C's like Nelson and Duchene. If they aren't options, then maybe a fast aggressive C like Pius Suter.

If it's a winger, I'd rather options like Olofsson, Donato types instead of a somewhat immobile sniper like Boeser.
