Fitz said we needed to get bigger but we still always lose to the same teams.

I’m sick of knowing which games are guaranteed losses before they start.

Down 3 to 0 at home and had long stretches of no shots in the 2nd. Its a pathetic effort and literally everyone in this organization should be ashamed. You can clearly see how much this team relied on Jack. Maybe our other core players are dragging this team down by not stacking up good enough compared to other teams. Then there is the pathetic bottom 6 that still can't score a goal. Literally every game the Devils have no goals by the halfway mark of the 2nd period. This team went from making us believers to me literally questioning if next season we are a bottom 10 team.

Glass , McLaughlin & Sprong are literally 3 players I wouldn't want touching the ice for this team. I'd rather them over Haula , Lazar and Bastian just for the sake of it. The team identity from the first half of the season has faded...What's the excuse ?

It really is such a stunning reversal from going into the winter break.

Like zero killer instinct, zero professionalism at the end of periods and special teams.

Some good looks, no finish though. As per usual this year.

I’m pretty meh on this team right now, whatever happens, happens. Get healthy, regroup, fix what needs to be fixed, come back next year. I’m still very comfortable with the future of this team.

I’m happy with the top end, I’m happy with the defense, I’m happy with the goaltending. Fix the bottom 6, pretty simple fix.

NJD look tentative. Idk if the loss of Hughes—the catalyst. You can’t just switch a high-flying attack to a D-first approach within 20 games.

IMHO, Fitz didn’t want to morgage the future. You’re in win-now mode. With that said, he could’ve added some offense.
