Flores is expected to be back in the lineup next weekend, Jeffery’s status heading into the OHL playoffs is uncertain.

“He’s played with the Falcons all year. His commitment is to the Falcons, as it should be in order to help them win in the playoffs,” Boudreau said. “But he is welcome in our dressing room at any point in time.

I kind of expect Brampton to split with the Petes, and lose the rest while gaining a loser point or two. It is possible, though unlikely for Niagara to go 4-0-2.

I agree. It would be best if he finished what he started with the Falcons. I do hope he is full time with the Dogs next year. I have been very impressed so far.

He has played well for the dogs. Go win a championship with the Falcons and see you next year. BTW, for those of you that believe Flores is the answer to a long playoff run, good luck but I doubt it.

He’s not the answer but he’d give them a better shot at still finishing 6th and maybe getting Kingston as for Jeffery he’s been great but I’d question if he can do it for a full season next year we’ll see though

The other side of it if Niagara kept him at this stage yu can bet the Falcons would remember next time niagara wants them to develop a player. With a healthy Flores he would only sit on the bench and not get any playoff stress experience.

I can’t say or not if they have or had bad blood but if you have a “farm team” the goal of that team should be to develop your younger players i don’t see teams like the falcons agreeing to do that I think they want to put the best players they can on the ice every year to win compete for a championship and if you are a “farm team” you can’t necessarily do that

Yes, they run the 50/50. When the IceDogs first came here, the Falcons were trying to do everything to get the IceDogs to leave. However, once it became obvious the IceDogs were here to stay, they started working together more.

I don’t believe the IceDogs have an official affiliate team anymore so they place their prospects on various teams. I believe in order to have an affiliate team, you need to provide some type of assistance or compensation to the team and I can’t see DD wanting to do that.

That is why I put "farm team" in quotes. I know the Falcons have their own thing going on.

The Falcons only get a portion of the 50/50 now. They share it with Crime Stoppers because that organization paid for the technology upgrade. I was told that despite sharing the revenue, the Falcons are actually getting more money now that they can sell the 50/50 online.

Many here have talked about the lack of import draft usage. An interesting offseason move would be to trade for Uronen (if he is still in the OHL, as he is an unsigned NHL pick atm). Similar to Loshko in the sense that he would take up an import and OA slot but he’d immediately be RW on line 1 next year and what a season he is having. I’d have no problem using the 2 slots if it meant having a player of that quality and Kingston will need to shed 05’s so price should be fair. Pair that with a strong 1st round import pick and I’d be happy. Just playing couch GM of course.

Oshawa is probably a better team than Barrie but just matchup wise I feel like Barrie kills us with their size and then following that up with their skill players. Time will tell but lots to play for to catch Sudbury if possible.

I could make a VERY STRONG argument both those teams could/should beat us in 4-5 games but Barrie is consistently inconsistent.

As for tonight game Humphries starts Stinson-kruz backs up
Dewatcher in for Scott on the back end
Hotles in for Arrowsmith up front
