So even a deal around Clarke + wouldn't work?

Not for me. Clarke is a good d prospect but we already have a number of offensive guys on the roster and system with Schmidt, Pionk, Ville, and Chisholm. We need JoMo's two-way game.

If the Jets sell of their FA its not because they plan on scorched earth rebuild. They will try to regroup and win next year and as such they likely won't move out any core players with term on their deals.

Jets have C… but have almost no RHW…
It’s a simple conclusion to come to if one but thinks on it, logically
you do know we could just move scheifele who is right handed to the wing if we are that desperate for a rhw and we have centers...

You thinking that a trade doesn’t work is irrelevant… your opinion doesn’t matter.
That’s where you’re having the problem… thinking your opinion is important, relevant, or necessary.
I couldn’t care less what you think of what I post. if you don’t like my posts… please feel free to hit block… you won’t be missed.
As for feeling personally attacked… not even close.
This site is entertainment, nothing else. There is not a poster on here who matters in the reality of hockey. No one here is an actual GM so their proposals are personal opinion… not fact.
To many here take themselves far to seriously and believe themselves far to important.
so basically you just want to come up with trade proposals and only want people to agree with what you come up with or else they are irrelevant and don't matter.... I thought this was a discussion board to discuss things hockey, not give batvader a pat on the back for making a trade proposal forum

I, personally, think he’s to small…5’10.
He’s a good young player, but if i had the choice between the 2, I’d rather have Boeser

I'm not too hung up on the size because Garland plays with a little edge, and it's not like Boeser is big or plays big. The big thing is Garland is locked up for 4 more years at a little under 5, and Boeser is going to need a new deal that's going to have to "start" at 7.5, which I don't think is going to be worth it.

If Copp came with an extension I think the Canucks would be interested in trading one of their wingers for him.

If he's coming without an extension then it would have to be Boeser as his contractual future is somewhat up in the air as well. Although I doubt JR would have any interest in trading for this type of UFA right now.

He's not available imo. He's our best all around dmen and signed at a good amount for another 6 years.
I'd be open to moving Morrissey from a hockey perspective. We have lots of LHD and I don't think Morrissey is exceptional. Not for his salary anyway.

I'm not sure the Jets move him though given his history with and role with the team. Maybe if we're moving out other core players too.

Tampa, FL.
If Tampa can make the cap work, I could see them possibly having interest in Copp at 50%. 1st+prospect or young roster player to make the cap work easier maybe(Tampa would also have to send a 4th or something to a 3rd team for the extra 25%). Copp would be a strong 3LW most likely, as Tampa could roll
Palat-Point-Kucherov
Killorn-Cirelli-Stamkos
Copp-Colton-Joseph
Maroon-Bellemare-Perry
Copp could also move up to 2LW if needed. Tampa couldn't re-sign him, so it would be a straight rental, but he would be a strong add for Tampa in preparation for what will be a very tough playoff road it seems this year.

Yikes that looks stout! With that forward group it would be pretty hard for someone to "out depth" the Lightning.
