I suspect JMo has been carrying an injury. Expect him to play better with the extra rest, though I think having to carry a [fill in the blank, depending on Jets/Moose injury list] partner and play a vast number of minutes while doing so isn't helping.

I agree, a couple of games I’ve attended he’s avoided some contact in a very deliberate way and in a fashion I haven’t seen from him before. Something must be going on with him.

Usually there is a ton of pressure in the neutral zone and if you are changing up a tired crew, you dump.
But it sounds like you are not referring to dumping into the O zone on a change - this sounds like exiting your own zone.

Exactly.
Exiting the zone while both teams are changing.
Instead of a high % controlled exit they either dump (pass) to the other teams D line with at best a low % chance of the new forward gaining possession. Obviously that is not happening all the time, but it happened at a much higher rate than is reasonable. I started paying attention and at one point it was 4 or 5 straight instances of LSW coming out and the D throwing away clean possession for no reason.
